The book is a precious biography of Hannibal, very precise and concise about the military history of the era. It draws a perfect (and pragmatic) portrait of the Carthaginian general, and analyses shortly what happened in the struggle for dominanace over the mediterranian.
I learned a good amount of stuff about this genius. A must read for all of us !
